Pregnant mother of two arrested for Facebook post protesting Melbourne lockdown

Yesterday, in Ballarat, Australia a pregnant mother of two was arrested by four masked police detectives, according to to local media. Her home was searched, computers and mobile phones confiscated.

28-year-old Zoe Buhler’s crime? Encouraging friends on Facebook to attend a protest against the lockdown holding five million people in nearby Melbourne under house arrest. In her post, she asks people to social distance and wear masks at the protest “so we don’t get arrested please.”

As you can see from the video below, she was handcuffed nonetheless, in her home, in her pyjamas, in front of her two children, due for an ultrasound appointment in an hour. Arrested for planning a peaceful, protest. No surprise to read that Australia does not have a Bill of Rights.

Below is a video from Sky News Australia denouncing the arrest as “appalling, disgusting and disgraceful.” The host calls for the arrest of the province’s premiere who has used the coronavirus to enable an “outlandish grab for power.” He says this woman is “a victim of the inexcusable and unlimited powers given to Victorian police.”

Buhler has since been released from custody. She has been fined $20,000 for promoting a freedom protest like that which took place in Berlin, Ottawa and London on Saturday.

My goodness, if I was running MuchAdoAboutCorona.au instead of .ca they’d probably have given me a serious caning in Federation Square and then fed me to a amethystine python.

In an interview this morning Buhler said she wanted to do something to stand up for human rights: “I’m sick of the lockdowns. I’m sick of hearing about suicide. I personally lost my job. And [I’m] sick of watching the economy collapse.”

Make no mistake, Melbourne is all our future when the second wave hits the northern hemisphere, if we don’t act now. Now is the time to stand up and speak out. Forget about writing your politicians, bombard your police chief with information. Get the cops on the side of the people they are sworn to protect, not the side of the traitorous government officials voting for this insanity.

As Robert F. Kennedy said in Berlin on Friday: “…governments love pandemics… Because it gives them a capacity to use fear, to use terror, to exert authoritarian control on a society.”

The only pandemic here is the regular cold and flu season, most evident by Australia’s latest influenza statistics, as I’ll demonstrate tomorrow. By coincidence, I have already prepared two posts about Victoria’s premiere-dictator and his baseless excuse for subjugating millions of people. Until then, you can read Site Life News’ full article about the arrest of this brave mother of three and watch the full video here.

Don’t be scared. See this as motivation to be brave like you’ve never been brave before. Remember Percy Shelly’s wise words: “Ye are many — they are few.”
