75-year-old man ignores lockdown to spend time with his grandchildren

A 75-year old Red Pill subscriber from British Columbia, Canada, sent me the following email about how he chose not to isolate himself during the COVID hysteria:

“I just discovered your excellent website and have subscribed to your updates. I have never believed the official propaganda and have found several web sites devoted to the truth. It is disappointing that so many alternate news sites have jumped on the bandwagon without any hesitation and have even become fanatical.

“I’m 75, so I should be locking myself inside, ordering my food and waving to my kids as they drive by! What a load of bull. I never stopped seeing my kids and grand children, won’t wear a mask or gloves and have continued my life as normal.

“Most people are unable to think for themselves and believe everything the cable news tell them. I know I’m preaching to the choir but I wanted you to know that I appreciate people like yourself who are able to inform those of us who can see the daily lies as we slide into totalitarian rule. I’m sorry to hear of your parents’ incarceration but hope they are well. Regards, Larry Lowe”

Of course, I respect any person who made the conscious decision to limit their social interactions because they felt that may be the best thing for their health. Yet what I love about Mr. Lowe’s email is that he exercised his freedom to make his own choices about his health and his life, instead of letting a politician decide for him.
