Lockdowns causing a 38% increase in opioid deaths (and sales)

“In the first 15 weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ontario,” says Public Health Ontario Report. “695 people died of a confirmed or suspected opioid-related death, representing a 38% increase compared to the 15 weeks immediately preceding the pandemic.”

They project 2,200 opioid-related deaths by New Year’s Eve (in a province that has reproted less than 4,000 “COVID deaths”). Yet another reason to resist this new normal nonsense (unless, you’re a drug dealer, of course).
