Chief medical janitor explains social distancing rules

In a recent video, comedian JP Sears depicts how state health departments in the USA might as well be letting their janitors come up with contradictory social distancing rules:

Assistant: We’re finding obesity is a factor which terribly increases someone’s risk for COVID-19. What do we do?

Janitor: Hmm. Let’s close all the gyms!

Assistant: For how long?

Janitor: We’ll reopen the gyms once they are closed long enough they all go out of business… That way they can’t reopen.

Assistant: That sounds effective, sir.

Janitor: And, while we’re at it, let’s close down all playgrounds. But make sure all the vending machines are still open so people can still get their sodas….

While I feel JP’s skit downplays the intelligence of janitors, he yet again uses humour to magnify the blatant contradictions in corona protection propaganda. You can enjoy the full video (which Google has kindly not banned) below:
